Managed IT Services in Florida
Florida Managed IT Group provides Managed IT Services for businesses across 10 Florida counties, including the Tampa, Orlando, and Miami metros. We run monitoring, the support desk, and a written plan so your stack has one owner. This page is for companies that want the full desk, not a staffed IT department of their own. Start with a free IT assessment.
What’s included
Managed IT Services is the monthly desk that owns monitoring, tickets, and the written plan for the stack in scope.
- Remote monitoring of the agreed stack
- US-based support desk for tickets and how-to
- Patching and maintenance on the devices and servers in scope
- Backup jobs we can name in the scope (not “the cloud”)
- Vendor coordination for the tools in the stack
- A written 12-month plan (vCIO Services is the related planning engagement)
- Written scope before work starts
- Month-to-month after that — if it is not working, you leave
- Projects (a migration, a new office, cabling) scoped separately from the monthly number
Who Managed IT Services is for
Offices that want one desk to own monitoring, tickets, and the plan. This is for Florida businesses in the 10 counties listed below — including healthcare, legal, and finance offices we already serve — that want a live-answer US-based desk rather than a staffed IT department of their own. Fully managed or co-managed. Not a fit: a company that only wants a one-time break-fix visit and no ongoing scope.
How Managed IT Services works
- Assessment. You request a free IT assessment. We inventory the stack that is in scope. Nothing is “assumed monitored.”
- Written scope. You get a monthly number for the agreed stack. Projects are separate line items. Ask for the SLA document on that call — we do not publish times we cannot keep.
- Desk + plan. The US-based desk takes tickets against that scope. The plan (what to buy, what to retire) is written down. Month-to-month.

How is this different from break-fix IT?
Break-fix waits for something to fail and bills the visit. Managed IT Services is a monthly scope: the US-based desk owns monitoring, tickets, patching, and a written plan so the stack has one owner. You are not buying hours after an outage. Month-to-month after the scope is signed. Response times live in the SLA we hand over — not a number invented on this page.
Frequently asked questions
What is Managed IT Services?
Managed IT Services is a monthly practice in which one desk owns monitoring, tickets, patching, and a written plan for the stack you agree to put in scope. Florida Managed IT Group delivers it across 10 Florida counties. The page above lists what is in the monthly scope and what is a separate project. Fully managed means we run the desk; if you already have staff, that is co-managed.
Which parts of Florida do you cover?
Florida Managed IT Group covers Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Sarasota, Orange, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Lee. City pages will live under the service-areas hub. Until those URLs exist, use the service areas page or contact us. We name those ten counties only. Tampa, Orlando, and the South Florida metros sit inside that map; city names on this page link to the hub so they do not 404.
How do you charge?
One monthly number for the stack we agree on. Projects — a migration, a new office, cabling, a phone cutover — are scoped separately. We do not publish a price list on this page. The written scope is what you pay against. Month-to-month after that. Ask for the number on the assessment; we will not invent a per-device rate here.
Are we locked in?
Month-to-month. If it is not working, you leave. Ask for the agreement on the first call. There is no multi-year lock published on this page because we do not sell one. The monthly number covers the agreed stack; projects stay separate. That is the same billing fact on every service we offer in Florida.
How do we start?
Request a free IT assessment or use the contact-us form. We will not put a phone number on this page until we have a real one to publish. The assessment inventories the stack that is in scope. You then get a written monthly number and a start path. Nothing is assumed monitored until that scope is signed. That is how Managed IT Services begins in Florida.
Do I need to fire my IT person?
No. If you already have an IT person, that is Co-Managed IT Services — we sit beside them on tickets, standards, and the plan. Fully managed Managed IT Services is for offices that want the desk to own the stack and do not staff an IT department of their own. You choose the model in the written scope. We do not replace a team you intend to keep.
Is on-site included?
On-site is used when the closet, a new office, or a device we cannot reach remotely needs hands. It is in the written scope or it is a project — we will say which before work starts. Remote tickets go to the US-based desk first. We do not invent a response-time number on this page; ask for the SLA document on the assessment call.
