Co-Managed IT Services in Florida
Florida Managed IT Group provides Co-Managed IT Services for Florida businesses that already have internal IT. We sit beside your people on tickets, the Microsoft stack, and the 12-month plan — we do not replace the team. Coverage is the same 10-county footprint as the rest of the practice. Start with a free IT assessment.
What’s included
Co-Managed IT Services is the monthly split of work with the internal IT you already have — overflow, standards, and a second brain, not a replacement desk.
- Shared ticket queue with your internal IT
- Escalation path for after-hours or overflow
- Stack standards (images, patch windows, identity rules) you can keep
- Microsoft 365 / identity help without taking the tenant from you
- Joint roadmap meetings
- Optional on-site when the closet or a new office needs hands
- Written scope before work starts
- Month-to-month after that — if it is not working, you leave
- Projects (a migration, a new office, cabling) scoped separately from the monthly number
Who Co-Managed IT Services is for
Offices that already have IT staff and need overflow, standards, and a second brain. This is for Florida businesses in the 10 counties listed below — including healthcare, legal, and finance offices we already serve — whose coordinator or team still owns the environment. Fully managed is the other model if there is no internal person. Not a fit: a company that only wants a one-time break-fix visit and no ongoing scope.
How Co-Managed IT Services works
- Assessment. You request a free IT assessment. We inventory the stack that is in scope. Nothing is “assumed monitored.”
- Written scope. You get a monthly number for the agreed stack. Projects are separate line items. Ask for the SLA document on that call — we do not publish times we cannot keep.
- Desk + plan. The US-based desk takes tickets against that scope. The plan (what to buy, what to retire) is written down. Month-to-month.

How is co-managed IT different from fully managed IT?
Fully managed means we own the desk, the monitoring, and the plan because there is no internal IT department to share the work with. Co-Managed IT Services sits beside the staff you already have: shared ticket queue, escalation, stack standards, Microsoft 365 help without taking the tenant, and joint roadmap meetings. If you have no internal person, fully managed is the fit. Same 10-county footprint either way.
Frequently asked questions
What is Co-Managed IT Services?
Co-Managed IT Services is a monthly practice in which we sit beside your internal IT on tickets, stack standards, and the 12-month plan — we do not replace the team. Florida Managed IT Group delivers it across 10 Florida counties. The page above lists what is in the monthly scope and what is a separate project. If you have no internal staff, fully managed is the fit.
Which parts of Florida do you cover?
Florida Managed IT Group covers Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Sarasota, Orange, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Lee. City pages will live under the service-areas hub. Until those URLs exist, use the service areas page or contact us. Co-Managed IT Services uses the same 10-county footprint as the rest of the practice. City names on this page link to the hub so they do not 404.
How do you charge?
One monthly number for the stack we agree on. Projects — a migration, a new office, cabling, a phone cutover — are scoped separately. We do not publish a price list on this page. Co-Managed IT Services is billed the same way: written scope, then month-to-month. Ask for the number on the assessment; we will not invent a per-device rate here.
Are we locked in?
Month-to-month. If it is not working, you leave. Ask for the agreement on the first call. Co-Managed IT Services has no multi-year lock published on this page because we do not sell one. Your internal IT keeps their role; the monthly number covers the agreed split of work. Projects stay separate from that number.
How do we start?
Request a free IT assessment or use the contact-us form. We will not put a phone number on this page until we have a real one to publish. The assessment inventories the stack and the split of work with your internal IT. You then get a written monthly number. Nothing is assumed in the queue until that scope is signed.
Will you replace my IT staff?
No. Co-managed means we work with them on tickets, standards, and the plan. Your people keep ownership of the environment. We take overflow, after-hours when it is in the written scope, Microsoft 365 help, and joint roadmap time. If you want us to own the whole desk instead, that is fully managed Managed IT Services — a different page and a different split.
Can we still call you after hours?
After-hours coverage is part of the written scope if we agree to it. We will not invent a time here. The US-based desk takes the tickets that are in that scope. Overflow during the day and after-hours incident help are the same rule: named in writing or not assumed. Ask for the SLA document on the assessment call.
