Business VoIP in Florida

Florida Managed IT Group provides Business VoIP for Florida offices that want voice on the same network we already watch. One vendor when the line and the laptop both fail. Service area is 10 counties, Tampa through Miami and Orlando. Start with a free IT assessment.

What’s included

Business VoIP puts a business phone system on the network we already watch — hosted voice, number port, and the same desk when a call-quality ticket is a switch ticket.

  • Cloud or hybrid voice on the network we watch
  • Number port, handsets or softphones, auto-attendant
  • Voicemail-to-email
  • The same desk when a call quality ticket is actually a switch or Wi-Fi ticket
  • New-site or remote-user adds as scoped projects
  • We do not claim a carrier we have not contracted
  • Written scope before work starts
  • Month-to-month after that — if it is not working, you leave
  • Projects (a migration, a new office, cabling) scoped separately from the monthly number

Who Business VoIP is for

Business VoIP is for Florida businesses in the 10 counties listed below that want phones on the same network as the PCs — one vendor when the line and the laptop both fail. One-time projects are fine; ongoing management is optional.

How Business VoIP works

  1. Assessment. You request a free IT assessment. We inventory the stack that is in scope. Nothing is “assumed monitored.”
  2. Written scope. You get a monthly number for the agreed stack. Projects are separate line items. Ask for the SLA document on that call — we do not publish times we cannot keep.
  3. Desk + plan. The US-based desk takes tickets against that scope. The plan (what to buy, what to retire) is written down. Month-to-month.

What does Business VoIP include in Florida?

Business VoIP in Florida is cloud or hybrid voice on the network we already watch: number port, handsets or softphones, auto-attendant, and voicemail-to-email. The same desk takes a call-quality ticket that is actually a switch or Wi-Fi ticket. New-site and remote-user adds are scoped projects. We do not claim a carrier we have not contracted. Scope is written before work starts. Month-to-month after that. Projects are scoped separately.

Florida coverage

Florida Managed IT Group works across 10 counties: Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Sarasota, Orange, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Lee. City pages are rolling out. Until a city URL is live, the names below go to the service areas hub.

Why put phones on the same stack as the laptops?

Because a dropped call is often a switch, Wi-Fi, or ISP problem, not a handset problem. When voice lives on the network we already watch, the same US-based desk looks at the phone and the path. One vendor when the line and the laptop both fail. We do not split the ticket to a national call center and hope they call us back.

Frequently asked questions

What is Business VoIP?

Business VoIP is a cloud or hybrid business phone system on the network we already watch: number port, handsets or softphones, auto-attendant, and voicemail-to-email. Florida Managed IT Group delivers it across 10 Florida counties. The page above lists what is in the monthly scope and what is a separate project. New-site and remote-user adds are scoped. We do not claim a carrier we have not contracted.

Which parts of Florida do you cover?

Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Sarasota, Orange, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Lee. City pages will live under /service-areas/. Until those URLs exist, use the service areas hub or contact us. That is the same 10-county footprint as the rest of the practice — Tampa Bay through Orlando and South Florida. We do not add counties we do not work.

How do you charge?

One monthly number for the stack we agree on. Projects — a migration, a new office, cabling, a phone cutover — are scoped separately. We do not publish a price list on this page. Ask for the written scope and the monthly number on the first call. Hardware, imaging, and net-new closets are not hidden inside that number. If you only want a project, we will say so.

Are we locked in?

Month-to-month. If it is not working, you leave. Ask for the agreement on the first call. There is no lock-in on the monthly engagement and no multi-year hostage note. Projects stay on their own line. We will not invent a termination fee on this page. Read the agreement before you sign.

How do we start?

Request a free IT assessment or use contact us. We will not put a phone number on this page until we have a real one to publish. Tell us the county and the stack. We inventory what is in scope. You leave with a written next step, not a slogan. No click-to-call until a real number exists.

Do we keep our numbers?

Number port is a normal part of a cutover. We will not promise a carrier or a date on this page. Keep the numbers you already publish if the losing carrier releases them. You will need the current bill, the account number, and a letter of authorization when we start the port. Do not cancel the old carrier before the port completes.

What if call quality is bad?

The same desk looks at the phone and the switch / Wi-Fi, because they are one network. A dropped call is often a voice path or an ISP path, not a dead handset. The US-based desk takes that ticket. We do not bounce you to a national call center. After go-live, user adds and call-flow changes stay on the same queue.

Next step

Tell us the county and the stack. We will not publish a phone number or a response-time badge on this page.
